Long-established practice in beautiful Marlborough region

About The Practice

Located in the heart of New Zealand’s wine country, this practice has been serving the local community for more than 60 years. The practice is part of a purpose-built health centre close to the CBD. There are three vendors, each operating independently and all looking to retire in the near future. This is a fantastic opportunity to purchase a successful practice in a beautiful part of the South Island.

About The Premises

The surgery is located in a complex that houses two medical practices, a community health clinic and a new dispensing pharmacy. The buildings are all easy-access ground floor premises. The position within the complex greatly increases the potential for referrals and cross-pollination. The dental suite contains three fully equipped surgeries (with an additional room that is plumbed, but currently used as a staff room), a waiting and reception area, a central sterilisation area and basic dental laboratory. There is a private car park located at the rear of the premises, as well as ample on-street parking. The practice sits in close proximity to a college, preschool and various retail outlets and businesses.

About The Area

Blenheim is a town located in the north-east of the South Island of New Zealand; it is the most populous in the Marlborough region, which is the centre of the New Zealand wine industry. With warm dry summers and cool clear winters, it has a relatively sheltered climate. Farming fishing and forestry remain a large part of the economy, with the area attracting hundreds of thousands of tourists each year to visit the more than 50 vineyards located around the region. The area has also become popular with retirees over the past few years. There is plenty of green space in Blenheim, including Seymour Square, Pollard Park, golf and tennis clubs. The town boasts world class cultural facilities and a sport centre and has a very active aero club and gliding club. The Marlborough Sounds is the portal for the Inter- island ferries linking the North and South islands and is a magnificent recreational area for boating, sailing, fishing and diving. The close proximity of the hills and mountains of Marlborough provide great outdoor opportunities for skiing and tramping, fishing and hunting, mountain biking and horse riding.

Woodbourne Airport provides air links to Wellington, Auckland, Taupo, Napier and Christchurch, Nelson and Westport. Blenheim has a train service that sits on the Main North Line. There are over 10 schools in the area, as well as an Institute of Technology campus.
