Veterinarian business partner to share in a fantastic veterinary mobile business

About the practice

The partnership is ideal for a veterinarian seeking semi-retirement, or a recent graduate with a great attitude and an optimistic personality. Support would be provided.

Clientele are mostly retirees with small dogs and cats - they love to take the highest level of care of them, and are very enjoyable to work with.

The working week is 8AM -5PM Monday-Friday, with a half-day during the week. Weekend and after hours work can be undertaken if desired, or referred on to the after-hours centres in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.

Services offered include vaccinations, SR12, check-ups, medical treatments, prescribing and  dispensing, minor procedures, microchipping, euthanasia and burial or cremation.

About the premises

The practice includes the mobile purpose-built motor home, which is well-appointed and solar powered. Minor procedures can be performed inside. It contains a consulting bench, sink, fridge, external shower (great for washing pyodermas), dispensary, computer, drug label printer, invoice printer, safe, and plenty of storage. It can also be used for weekend get-a-ways and has a double bed in it.

The practice has been open for approximately 5 years and is fully-mobile and fully-computerised. The van is modern, well-equipped and solar powered. It offers full head height and bench space for consulting, with all patient records, medicines and equipment conveniently at your fingertips. There is a fridge, dispensary, sink with running water, computerised records, drug label printer, invoice printer, and plenty of storage space. Overheads are very low and clients receive personalised attention.

A base clinic can be setup for the new partnership to work together with the existing mobile business and client base, to offer the normal range of surgeries. The practice currently has an excellent relationship with other nearby practices for referral of hospital and surgical cases.
