About the practice

This great opportunity offers a purchaser the chance to own two veterinary practices, and a consulting room in a freestanding commercial building situated in Nabiac, 20 km west of Tuncurry. The vendor has owned the practice in Forster for 12 years and the practice in Tuncurry for 18 years. The practice is currently run as one 2.5 Vet practice grossing circa $850K. The vendor owns the practice and the premises and is willing to sell or lease the premises (Tuncurry and Forster) to focus on other business interests. The staff is willing to stay on post-sale.

About the premises

Tuncurry practice: The premises will be moved to a new location in March 2017, only 300 metres from its current location. The new facility is located in a freestanding residential conversion in a prime location, with large signage across the exterior of the building, which faces busy Manning Street road. The practice has eight dedicated onsite parkings.

The veterinary clinic is highly visible to pedestrian and car traffic, with large signage placed on the exterior of the premises. Street parking is available outside the premises.

About the area

Tuncurry and Forster: The Mid North Coast region of New South Wales is about 300km north of Sydney. The region's main towns include the twin towns of Forster and Tuncurry. They are considered semi-major commercial centres. This beautiful part of the coast is a blend of great places to stay, eat and shop, coupled with beautiful beaches, lakes and national parks. Because of its close driving proximity to Sydney, Forster-Tuncurry has established itself as a popular summer holiday destination where, in the hotter months, the population swells considerably. The school holidays in the colder months also bring large numbers of holidaymakers.

Nabiac: Prior to the mid-1950s, Nabiac was relatively isolated, but the relocation of the Pacific Highway at that time changed its nature, and it has steadily become more of a highway service town for hinterland to the west and tourist stopping point.
