- PRACTICE FOR SALE
high-grossing small animal practice
About the practice
This high-grossing small animal practice was established over 25 years ago. The practice has managed to turnover well over $1M in the last financial year, with no afterhours work and operating 5.5 days per week. The vendor is looking to phase into semi-retirement and is happy to remain post-sale, for a short period-of-time. The vendor is also willing to sell or lease the premises.
About the premises
The practice is located in a purpose-built building on a corner block, built in 2004, in the suburb's main commercial area. It consists of one surgery and two consulting rooms, which lead off the main reception area and waiting room. The dog and cat wards are located upstairs and downstairs, which contains cat boarding facilities and an isolation room. In addition to the kitchen and laundry, there is a separate X-ray room and a pharmacy. There is dedicated off-street parking behind the surgery for four cars, as well as street parking directly outside.
About the area
Blaxland is a town situated in the lower Blue Mountains area of New South Wales, 70 kilometres west of Sydney. The area received a major uplift in 2001, with the widening of the Great Western Highway, which created space for additional retail outlets. The surgery is close to a supermarket, pharmacy and a variety of restaurants. Blaxland is a family-friendly town, with three schools, sports clubs and hiking trails. The railway station links Blaxland to Sydney, via Parramatta.
